Boxings cinderella man, Baldomir emerged from poverty in Argentina to become the welterweight champion of the world. A true boxing journeyman with 9 losses to his credit, Baldomir turned his career around winning the title against Zab Judah in January of 2006 and knocking out Arturo Gatti that summer. His fairytale run ended last November when he was soundly beaten by Floyd Mayweather.
