		THE MARCH OF TIME AT NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART On July 24th as part of The March of Time's ongoing 75th anniversary celebration, the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC will screen several programs as part of the "Film and Reality in the 1930s: Roots of the Docudrama" series. In addition to the 1940 feature film "The Ramparts We Watch," several stories including "Huey Long," "Trans-Pacific" and "Highway Homes" will be screened. Click Here For More Information On The Event »   THE MARCH OF TIME HD FOOTAGE IN RECENT PRODUCTIONS Several productions have taken advantage of HBO Archives' 35mm film backing of The March of Time collection by transferring clips to HD: Over 20 minutes of footage was featured in the 10-part miniseries The Pacific. Clips of beauty salons were used in the documentary Vidal Sassoon: The Movie which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. The Wieden+Kennedy Manifesto commercial for Jeep contains World War II liberation celebrations. The PBS documentary Key West: Bohemia in the Tropics has nearly 2 minutes of Key West scenic and lifestyle shots from Volume 4, Issue 8 "Brain Trust Island."   SPOTLIGHT ON THE RED CARPET From award shows to major motion picture premieres, HBO Archives features celebrities walking and talking on the red carpet going back to the mid-1980's.
